Heres a swing set we sent to Uganda to assist the efforts of the Hopebuilders International. It was well received, and there was a LONG Line to have a go! Well done to all involved, and especially those from the Yarra Valley Vinyard Christian Fellowship.

Well, I was as surprised as anyone when this pic turned up this morning.
The blackened landscape of Kinglake has been blanketed in snow! This is a view from the verandah of the temporary school, overlooking the playground we built with the Variety club. Doesn't look like it's had too many kids on it this morning, that slide would be a little cold!!!

We've teamed up with Variety Club of Victoria and installed a couple of new playgrounds in schools who weren't so fortunate. The first is at Chum Creek Primary, where the fires skirted the perimeter,and they lost a few buildings and the playground was partially bulldozed to make a fire break. Glen Robbins and Keith from the Seekers were there for the hand over, and it was an emotional time.


We also had the opportunity to help at Middle Kinglake Primary, where the school was burned to the ground. To see the devastation in and around this area was horrific, and it only made us want to help more! Again, the help provided by Volenteers was invaluable, and the kids welcomed their new playground with great enthusiasm. (I don't even think the concrete was set  yet!)

Well, It's been a busy weekend, We are celebrating TWO world titles this week.
Firstly, theres Nick Lundh, Our champion salesman. He managed to take the World Middle weight kick boxing title at the QBH nightclub on Sunday night (15/7). Well done Nick. His nose was broken half way through the first round, but he continued on to win by TKO just into the second round. Nick is a great source of inspiration to all here, with his massive drive and determination, he is an example of what can be done if  you put your mind in the right place.
Our other title was from the RMIT formula SAE team. They managed a fantastic victory in the UK, making that 3 titles in the last two years. The other two being the Australasian title earlier in the year and the Detroit comp in May last year. Well done to Jacob Rayner and all the team at RMIT racing.

Well, It's been a while. With all the work created by the Investing In schools Program, we have been quite busy. Our New shed is nearing completion. All our installers have been all having a go at some part of it's construction, and it's finally nearing completion. It's main purpose is for the finishing off and loading of our play grounds, At the moment, most of this happens outside in the weather. Macca will be pleased!
Apart from that, it's all systems GO for the new financial year.

Heres a little project we have completed for the new You Scream! Icecream shop, which is opening in healesville on the 21st of December. With a very tight timeline, we were able to manufacture and install the structure within less than 3 weeks. (Ahead of the builders who are actually renovating the shop.) We can't wait to see all the happy customers who will be using the new structure when the store opens.
