After 20 years in the construction industry Richard and Dianne
Rayner commenced operations as Activity Playgrounds Pty. Ltd. in
1991, servicing local primary schools by designing, manufacturing and installing custom built play structures.

As time passed and skills developed our reputation grew to cover the whole state of Victoria and in 1996 due to demand we extended our services and began installing our structures interstate.

With an ongoing policy of training, development and investment in the latest resources Activity Playgrounds continues to grow as an effective and dynamic company.

Activity Playgrounds has highly trained and competent staff who have an unqualified commitment to excellence in customer support and service. Specializing in design, manufacture, supply, installation and maintenance of quality play equipment. We are continually developing our range and services aiming to provide high quality products and innovative ideas to our clients.

Managing Director and Design Coordinator, Richard Rayner has over 18 years experience in the playground industry. This together with his CAD (Computer Assisted Design) ability ensures the production of high standard designs that are both safe, interesting and in compliance with the latest Australian Standards. All customers can expect high quality submissions fully outlining our proposed play equipment. Richard’s commitment to our certified Quality Management System ensures a very high standard of customer satisfaction.

Cameron Rayner is our Sales, Marketing and Operations Manager and provides our customers with personal, friendly and capable service. He has over 15 years experience in customer relations and sales, and also offers a wealth of knowledge in the fields of plant and operational logistics. While our turnover continues to increase Cameron ensures that we improve our ability to give customers satisfying, individual and personal attention.

Nick Lundh is one of our highly motivated sales staff. His determination to educate people on the right style of playground, rather than selling them any old structure, makes him a stand out from the pack. Combining this with his endless enthusiasm and eagerness for repeat business has seen Nick making new friends in schools and councils around the state.

Our other Sales Representative is Geoffrey King. With a Diploma in Advertising & Marketing, Geoff is always finding new ways to present our company and products. As well as this, he handles most of our playground auditing. Providing maintenance and standards compliance audits, Geoff ensures all playgrounds he visits are audited to the highest Australian standards, and the reports are presented in a logical and easy to understand format.

Many other staff are involved with the manufacture and installation of our playgrounds. From the people manufacturing the components, right through to our efficient and hard working Installers, everyone at Activity Playgrounds is committed to providing top quality playground equipment.
